An Award for ME which I'm passing on to some friends too!

At the end of October my good blogging friend, Connie, at Devoted Mama gave me an award and I never thanked her for it! Thank you Connie. If you have a minute go and visit Connie's blog. She has a very nice blog, she's a great wife and mother, and has lots of fun pictures to share about her family. She has two beautiful boys, Justin & Kendall and a great husband, Bobby. Say hello when you stop in she loves comments!

Now I'm too pass this award on to 4 other blogging friends in the USA and one from another country.

Laurie & Chris at Miss Flower - They are a married couple who share their blog. We met a few years ago online and I've enjoyed reading their blog ever since. I always look forward to seeing what changes they have in their blog decorations for each season or holiday. They love Nascar and Chris is a fellow fan of Jimmie Johnson #48! I was honored a year or two ago to win one of their contest. I have the prize hanging in my craft room! I love it! Thanks for being such nice people!

Maggie Ann at Knitting Kat - Maggie Ann is a lovely person. How can I tell that when we've never met? Just read her blog and who'll find out. She loves the Lord with all her heart and when I read her blog I feel her special love and it makes me work on my relationship with Him too. I love reading her blog each day to see what craft project she is working on. She loves to knit and makes some beautiful creations. She also loves to collage. We exchanged ATC several years ago and she sent me several beautiful ones I would not have wanted to part with if I was her. Go and visit her blog you'll be glad you did. She just became a grandmother right before I did! Wish her congratulations!!

Debra at As I see it Now - Debra's blog is one of the first blogs I started to read back in 2006. She's one of the reason I started my blog. I joined a yahoo message group she monitors and have meet some wonderful ladies through the group. Debra and her husband just recently bought a farm house and they are having fun fixing it up and realizing their dream. She shares her everyday ups and down and writes wonderful post about her relationship with the Lord and how he works in her life. She is a fellow lover of the Betsy-Tacy books. I thought I was the only one!! She loves vintage homemaking. Go and visit her blog you'll feel wonderful after you do.

My hubby at The Camera Totin Idiot - I'm not sure if he'll re post this or not. At his blog you'll find someone who loves everything trains and Steelers Football. Nascar too but he's a Junior fan. I guess we like him anyway! He has a great sense of humor and a great way of writing about things like our kids, life, people! We will be married 30 years next year and it's been a fun time for us both. We love photography but he's better then me. He's also a writer working on the next great novel. If that happens remember you read it here first. He works second shift so we see each other at lunch time, bedtime, and weekends. We treasure our weekends! While I'm at work he spends all morning writing. Someday we will have that cabin in the woods we dream about! I love you sweetie.

A friend from overseas:

Shani from France at Jusqu'aus yeux... - I found Shani's blog though another art blog earlier this year. She loves collage and her pieces are so fun. I find inspiration in her work. I love reading about her life in France and how different it is from mine but yet the same too. I'm going to try her pumpkin butter. It looks yummy! Shani had a her first blog anniversary in October. Visit her site and wish her congratulations! She recently visited the US too and I had a good time! If you want to learn more about France or find some inspiration for art visit Shani and her blog!

Meet Craig and Andy!

While my company was exhibiting at the trade show in DC we met a very nice couple exhibiting in the booth next to ours, Craig & Andrea. Craig is wheelchair bound after a skiing accident and Andy is his wife. They live in Colorado. They have written two books on traveling with a disability. I was impressed with them both. As I watched them at their booth talking with other disabled men and women I was very impressed with their attitude on life. Craig is a motivational speaker and sometime I'd love to hear his talk. I'm sure it would be inspiring for anyone disabled or able bodied. You can find out more about Craig & Andy, their upcoming schedule, and their travel books at their websites. Their company is Access Anything and their blog is located here. They have several websites and you can find the links to these sites on their blog.

Craig made the cover of Sports and Spokes March 2007 magazine. Inside there is an article about skiing in Colordo written by Andy. Craig said "You can't see it but I have the biggest smile on my face in the photo."
