Here is a picture of the new curtains we bought for the kitchen today. This is the picture from the package. We also bought new cushions for the chairs and new rugs. I love sunflowers and liked how they have them in a vase in the picture. So I did the samething with some artifical sunflowers from last year. I also bought a strand to hang on the curtain tops. The kitchen look like summer! Hopefully spring is not far away. I can't wait!  Posted by Picasa

Here is one of the collages. The caption is the definition of childhood. Childhood: the state of being a child. The little bear charm is acturally from a box of Cracker Jack. I have a whole full of things from Cracker Jack that my DD saved. Ann Posted by Picasa

My DH and I found this lovely photo in a collection of family photos. She's not a relative. Her picture was included in a box of photos from a cousin. We think she was a daughter of a friend of the cousin. I think she is just adorable. I have decided to use her in several of my collages. Posted by Picasa

Does anyone remember wearing gloves? I do. We wore them to church and to girl scout special occasions. Oh the memories. I found this ad in an old newspaper from the 60's that my mother-in-law has saved. Neat.  Posted by Picasa

Here is an interesting ad I found in an old 1950's magazine. Click on the picture to see it up close. Prices are cheap! But it doesn't look comfortable. I'm so glad for my sport bras! Posted by Picasa

New to the internet

Welcome to my blog! This is my part of the internet to share with you some of my thoughts and things I collect or have made! Let me know what you think and maybe you can start your own blog!

I chose the name "A Mother's Minutes" because that is what my son named them. When he was little and would call for me and I would tell him "I'll be there in a minute." Well one day when he was older he asked "Is that a Mother's minute?". Because my minutes where usually 10 minutes. So it has been a joke around our house since then.

I also have a place to share my photos, scrapbook pages, collages, and altered books. Check it out at http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?username=anndec12.
I hope you like what you see and find something interesting.

Check back often. I hope to be able to update the page at least once a week.
