Another favorite Christmas movie!

Here is my current movie I'm watching. This is a great Christmas movie and on my list of favorites. We've been watching this at bedtime and takes us about 4 days to watch the entire thing. Ann

One of my favorite Christmas movies

Scrooge with Albert Finney is just about my favorite Christmas movie. I love the story of Scrooge and this is a very good version. I love all the songs such as December the 25th, I like Life, and Thank you very much. I just watched it on Friday. Great Fun!

Family Fun!

It was game time at our house last night. We played Apples to Apples which Sara won and Clue which I WON! Miss Scarlet in the Billard Room with the Candlestick. Great family fun!

Anniversary of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address

On Sunday, November 19th Paul, Sara, and I attended the anniversary of Lincoln's Gettysburg address. These are just a few of the people we saw. James Getty portrays Lincoln each year and is very, very good. The other people in the differnt photos were very nice and pleasant when asked if they would mind having their picture taken. Santa was just about the nicest person I've ever met. Maybe he was the real one!!!!!

Goodbye to my Yellow Mum. Until next year.....

I'm sorry to see the end of this beautiful flower. I cut it back today. It was given to me by my Mother-in-Law, Marian. I planted it myself and have never had what people call "a Green Thumb". But this year was different. Everything grew and looked so beautiful. I'm so glad I kept a picture diary of the flowers. It is nice to look back on these cold days and remember the warmth of the sun and working in my flower garden and enjoying sitting on our deck. Until next spring & summer.......

Practicing Uploading some photos

Well, I'm learning some new ways to do my blog. Today I'm practicing uploading pictures. I had been using Picas2. Which I like very much but I could only do one picture at a time. So today I'm trying uploading the photos through the dashboard. I've decided to add a couple more fall photos. The leaves here are pretty much done for the year. They are waiting to get raked up. so here is something to remember the season with. What do you think? I like the bigger photos in my other post! Ann

Pepper. Sara's kitty. She adopted us in August of 05. She is a delight.

Buddy! He is a great companion. And he keeps me warm when we take a nap.
