Cornwall - I could live here too!

I would love to visit Cornwall someday. I've told you I've been reading The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher. Part of the book takes place in Cornwall and I've been doing some visiting via the internet to Cornwall. These are some lovely photos of the area that I found here.

Will you take me with you when you go? I promise to be good and to finish The Shell Seekers before we go (I started it and got sidetracked). Please, Please, Pretty Please?

Ann - I know I already commented once, but your post inspired me to browse my library's England section. I am currently dreaming through a coffee-table book entitled The Most Beautiful Villages Of England. Then, even better, I discovered a website/mailing list of English villages by the author of the book!! (http://www.eng-villages.co.uk/beautiful_villages.html)

Hi Ann, what a beautiful and quaint place. I think I'll go with you too..if you don't mind..grin. Thanks for praying for me, my leg is ok now...kind of weird but I'm thankful. Limping around isn't fun. My finger joints are still sore...I'm hoping I don't have to go to the Dr's. I made 3 collages this morning...I mean all day! really. At first I didn't like any of them, but they are 'growing' on me. Especially since I used spray glue on the one I'm getting ready to do. Our son is remodeling his place and I asked for some pieces of foam insulation to collage on. The one I did really turned out nicely. Better go get the cello out...the day is flying by. We may go work out at the gym tonight for the first time ever..gulp. Our son paid for us to try it for a month. I'm so in need of exercise! Hope you've had a good day at work =)

Oh my.
That is gorgeous!

I hear the climate is mild in Cornwall. So it's not only beauitul, it's also the most 'tropical' areas of the British Isles.

It is so lovely to see your pictures of Cornwall on your blog. I live in a village in England but it is in the Midlands and so I am not near the coast. My uncle and aunt are lucky enough to live in Cornwall though. They retired there and I have heard that they are very happy. I have visited Cornwall but not for a few years. Devon and Somerset are also beautiful counties aswell. If you get the chance to come over and visit do as I'm sure you would love them.
