Well I finally finished it today and I LOVED it! I'm so glad I found the book and finally picked it up and read it.
Now I need to find someone else to read it so I have someone to discuss it with.
The book was so interesting. I couldn't put it down. I'm ready to visit Guernsey!
If you're like me and have never heard of Guernsey let me fill you in. Guernesey is one of the islands of The Channel Islands off the coast of France. The island was occupied by the Germans from 1940 to 1945. This book is a fictional account of the occupation through a series of letters from the members of the Society to Juliet, a writer, in Londen during 1946.
At first it was a little confusing reading the letters but as I read on and started to know the characters I was hooked!

Now to find another book to read. That's always the difficult thing to do after reading a good book. Finding another GOOD book!!

Right now I have a stack of highly recommended books to read. It takes me a long time to get through a book because I can't keep myself off the computer!
Hi Ann, Isn't that the truth! Finding another 'good' book after finishing something you loved is hard sometimes. You just didn't want that 'good' one to end. I've been downloading audio books for my sister & me....its very relaxing to do the ironing by!

I have a thing with books like most women have with shoes!!I keep buying more and more.I go to the discount store and buy them on clearance, but never find the time to read!!
mmmm...........I've been looking for a good book. I'll have to check this one out. Sounds interesting.
