It's been a tough week!

It's been a long week and weekend. We are sick again! Coughing, fever, chills, etc. etc. I'm hoping we are on the mend. We been eating a lot of this:

The weather people are calling for some bad weather for our area over the next two days. It would be lovely to have a snow day or two.

We had some movies home from Netflex over the weekend.

Don't bother with these two movies:

We still have this one to watch:

I just found out that this mini series from the 70's is finally on DVD:
Captains and the Kings

Did anyone watch this all those years ago? I loved Richard Jordan. I've got it in my Netflex queue. I hope I'm not disappointed. Have you had that happen? You look foward to seeing something you haven't seen in years and then you see it and wonder what was the big deal. That happened with Paul and me and the movie Airplane! I was pregnant with John at the time we first watched it back in 1982 and Paul thought I was going to go into labor because I was laughing so hard. We watched it a few years ago on DVD and I couldn't see what I thought was so funny. I guess we all grow up!

Lovejoy season 4 is finally out on DVD and the first disc is on it's way from Netflex. That will make my week! Well except for watching Lost and CSI!

Paul and I did have fun Friday night at the pep rally for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Check out the Camera Totin Idiot's page for more photos on the rally!

Well I'm off to the kitchen to make a ham and turkey sandwich on 12 grain whole wheat bread. Sounds yummy!

Oh no! Sorry to hear you're all sick again~that's no fun~y'all sure have had a rough go of it. I hope you all feel much better soon~maybe you'll get those couple snow days like you mentioned & time to get fully rested.

I haven't seen any of the movies you mentioned. We've been contemplating getting a Netflix account but haven't completely decided yet.

That's a great pic of you & hubby~hope you had a good time :)

(I love the picture at the top of this post.) ;) Oh, Tom saw the new Apaloosa (is that the one you watched?) and he loved it. I didn't watch it with him cuz I knew I'd hate it. heh. Feel better soon!
