I LOVE the texture of this photo. Gritty and dirty and old...and I can't take my eyes off of it. You've reminded me why I loved my old pair of high-tops. I need to find a new pair...red this time.
Hi Ann -- I take it you found a treasure, under the stairs in your garage maybe? Anyway don't throw those pretty license plates away. I have several dust pans made from plates. Mine won't be used to pick up dust, they have hangers to be put on the wall. .. BTW, they were off Dad's car and pickup from back in the 60's. Happy WW! Thanks for the visit. ..
I love this photo. My kids give me a hard time because I like "old stuff". There are lots of treasures waiting to be found there. Thanks for sharing. Happy WW!
Good to see those old plates. PA has always been good at promoting iself on its plates ("you've got a friend in..." "the keystone state"...), but these are far nicer than the computer graphics jobs that are out there now. Classic and bright! Great photo.
I wish those sneakers could tell their story! Been a while since they had court time, I guess.
I grew up in Pennsylvania -- so this photo tugged at my heart a bit with those old Pee-Ay license plates. And those old high-top "Connies" look like they've traveled as many miles as the license plates!
